Boltless shelving is one of the most customizable storage systems available, allowing you to mix and match upright post heights, beam lengths, and shelf supports to build the exact configuration your warehouse or stockroom needs. What is the weight capacity of Boltless Shelving

The weight capacity of boltless shelving depends on the beam style and shelf width. Single rivet beams are best for lighter items and typically hold around 100 pounds or less per shelf. Standard double rivet beams increase capacity to roughly 300–500 pounds, while heavy-duty double rivet beams can support approximately 500–800 pounds per shelf when evenly distributed. To maintain strength across wider shelves, we use 1 shelf support on 48″ beams, 2 supports on 72″ beams, and 3 supports on 96″ beams. This ensures your boltless shelving stays stable, level, and capable of handling heavier loads without sagging.
