Almost all the times that pallet racks are installed they need permits.
Typically there are 2 permits required: the Building Permit & a High Pile Permit.

As soon as in 7 days.
Our process is 1. Visit onsite to understand your needs.

3. Create a quote of materials we have in-stock that fulfills the requirements.
4. Begin preparing the order and setting a delivery day.
5. Begin installation.

A 25,000 SQ FT Warehouse can take 3-4 days while a 100,000 SQ FT Warehouse can take 2-3 weeks. It all depends on the size of the warehouse, your schedule and the amount of racking we will install. We are able to install: overnight

The timeline includes gathering the required building information, preparing structural calculations, creating an egress plan, completing the fire analysis, submitting documents, responding to city corrections, and scheduling final inspections. The exact duration depends on the project complexity and the requirements of the local jurisdiction.

The total depends on the building dimensions, clear height, aisle width, pallet size, rack configuration, columns, docks, staging needs, and fire-code requirements. A layout focused only on maximizing pallet count may reduce traffic flow and operational efficiency, so capacity should be balanced with safe and practical warehouse operations.

What aisle width is necessary for setting up pallet racks in my warehouse?

Accepted Answer

Aisle width is determined mainly by the type of equipment you use.
Forklift uses 12ft, Reach Truck uses 9ft, VNA uses 6ft.
