    Advantages & Considerations

Direct access to every pallet at any given moment
Allows for storage of many SKUs
Allows for flexibility with inventory changes
Easy to expand or reconfigure for different products
Requires an aisle for every back-to-back
Lower density than double-deep racks or drive in racks
    Layout depends on forklift requirements
May not be ideal for large volumes of one SKU

    How Selective Pallet Racking Works

Pallet Racks are placed in single rows against walls or in back-to-back rows throughout the warehouse. Aisle widths are determined by the forklifts or reach trucks being used, while rack height and beam spacing are based on pallet dimensions, load weight, ceiling height, sprinklers, and required clearances.
